My name is Elleke, and I started my PhD in the Dutch Connectome Lab in the beginning of 2019. I obtained both my BSc degree in Cognitive & Neurobiological Psychology and MSc degree in Neuroscience & Cognition at Utrecht University. During several research projects at the VUmc, UMCU, Max Planck Institute and Karolinska Institute, I got fascinated by the complex and interactive effect of genetic and environmental factors on human brain structure and function. During my PhD I will integrate genetic and environmental data to study the human connectome and its relation to psychiatric disorders.
